In addition to renewing your license each year *, you must recertify every five years to qualify for continued licensure.
This demonstrates your continuing level of competency in pest control or inspection.

How to recertify
You have three options:
By Credit
You can recertify by taking WSDA-approved continuing education courses.
The number and type of credits you need to earn during your five year cycle depends on your license type(s).

By Exam
You can recertify by retesting towards the end of your five year recertification cycle.
You must pass all of the exams required for your license type(s) and categories.

By Reciprocation
If you have a reciprocal license, you can re-submit proof of your other state's license at the end of your Washington recertification cycle.
