On-Site Courses

  • Are delivered in person at a specific date and time.
  • Have a live proctor who is responsible for attendance verification.
  • May contain pre-recorded content.

How to Apply

Submit requests to recertification@agr.wa.gov 30 days before course start date to ensure review.
Send as attachments only, no links.

Include completed:
  • Request for Recertification Course Accreditation form [PDF] and
  • Detailed Agenda and Summary Presentation form [PDF] 
    • You may submit your own detailed agenda in place of WSDA form if you:
      • Include start and end time of each presentation.
      • Mark each presentation for which you are requesting credit.
      • Summarize each presentation for which you are requesting credit.
      • Note pesticide-related topics covered.
      • Include start and end times of breaks and meals.
      • Include names of presenters and brief presenter title and background 

Review and Approval

  • Once complete, your request is moved into a queue for review.
  • This queue is usually booked out two to four weeks in advance, depending on the time of year.
  • A specialist will contact you with any questions that come up during the review.
  • After your course is approved, we will email you the course number and credit information, a roster form, and further instructions.
  • On-site course approvals are good for the specific dates and times specified on the request.
  • Notify recertification@agr.wa.gov of any changes to the course (content, structure, time, date and/or location) as soon as possible.
  • Be prepared to fill in time with qualifying material if a speaker cancels or if a presentation ends early.

On-Site Audits

  • We reserve the right to audit all on-site courses for content and format.
  • We can revoke course approval if audit access is denied.
  • After the audit, we will send you a follow-up email for your records.
  • If we find any issues that need to be addressed during the audit, we will contact you to discuss what to do next.

After the Course

Send the completed roster to recertification@agr.wa.gov within two weeks after the end of each session.
  • Notify us if there are no Washington-licensed attendees.
  • Incorrect license numbers will not be awarded credit.
If any licensees listed a Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) license number on the sign-in sheets and you did not request credit from CCA separately, please also send a copy of the sign-in sheet to errin@fwaa.org.
