Credit Information

  • One credit is equal to 50 minutes of instruction received in pesticide-related topics.
  • Course content must expand beyond core competencies.
  • See Pesticide Related Topics for a list of qualifying and non-qualifying topics.
  • Presenters should not receive credit for their own presentations.
  • Time allotted for question and answer sessions is not awarded credit.
  • Time allotted for quizzes and exams is not awarded credit.
  • WSDA only awards courses whole credits, not fractions of a credit.
  • WSDA will not accept credit requests for courses that have already happened.

Open versus Closed courses

  • Courses marked "Open" by the sponsor will populate the recertification course search website.
  • Courses marked "Closed" are by invitation only and will not show up on the searchable website.

Equivalent Courses

A licensee can only earn credit for one session with the same agenda.

Concurrent Courses

A licensee cannot earn credit for course sessions with overlapping times.
