Respirator Train the Trainer Program

What do you need today?

Respirator Fit-Test Train the Trainer

This workshop is designed to train trainers to identify the correct respirator for job requirements, create and maintain a written respirator program, and receive training in conducting a respirator fit test following state and federal standards.

Course Information

This highly interactive, hands-on workshop covers 3 modules:

  1. Respirator Identification: an explanation of respirators, how to use them and for what types of situations.
  2. Written Respirator program: a brief explanation for how to run a written respirator plan for a business.
  3. Fit test: participants will be taught to conduct a respirator fit-test and are guided through an exercise to decontaminate the equipment.

We are offering two concurrent sessions, each limited to 8 to 12 participants. Our bilingual trainers can lead the workshop in Spanish or English. Depending on local demand, the sessions might be both in Spanish, English or one in each language. Please indicate the language preference to the sponsor at the time of registration.

This workshop targets farm owners, respirator program managers, handlers, and anyone else in the agriculture industry.
