You can recertify by taking WSDA-approved continuing education courses.

The number and type of credits you need to earn during your five year cycle depends on your license type(s).

Limited Private Applicator                   8 All Weed*                No maximum 
Rancher Private Applicator                  12 Any Credit Type      No maximum 
Private Applicator                  20 Any Credit Type     10 / calendar year 
All Other License Types                  40 Any Credit Type    15 / calendar year 
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that the credits you take show up on your Recertification Credit Report. See your report using the License Search.
 
  • Equivalent sessions - You can only earn credit for one session with the same agenda. 
 
  • Concurrent sessions - You cannot earn credit for course sessions with overlapping times.
 
  • Credits must be completed by 11:59 p.m. PT on December 31 to count towards the current calendar year.
 
  • Credits cannot be carried over to the next cycle.
 
  • WSDA will not review missing credits for courses that occurred before the previous calendar year.
 
  •  All credits must be reported to WSDA by the course sponsor.
