WSDA's Groundwater Quality projects address groundwater impacts from the use of agricultural chemicals, primarily pesticides and fertilizers. These projects aim to identify the presence and concentrations of pesticides and nutrients in our states groundwater resources. This approach allows WSDA to proactively identify potential water quality concerns before problems develop. WSDA collaborates with state and local partners on groundwater quality protection projects to address potential impacts from agricultural production.
