Sweet peppers come in different colors, sizes, and shapes. Yellow, orange, and purple peppers are fairly commonplace nowadays beyond red and green. Bell peppers are available in green, red, yellow, orange, purple and even chocolate color!
Did you know that purple bell pepper has white flesh? Students can enjoy observing and disecting different varieties of peppers and taste the difference. Or you can make a research and writing project out of peppers, sweet or hot/spicy kinds to have students explore many varieities of peppers eaten across the globe.
