Washington State produces 60% of the nation’s red raspberry supply, and 95% of the nation's processed red raspberries.
Raspberries thrive in an environment of a cool, marine climate. Red raspberries are not the only color; they also come in black, purple, and gold.
Berries are a well-anticipated sign of summer, as their peak harvest time is during the warmer months of the year. In Washington State, raspberries are usually available June through August.
