Cranberries are a fruit native to the North Americas, packed with antioxidants. Native Americans used the cranberries as a staple as early as 1550. By 1620, Pilgrims learned how to use cranberries from the Native Americans.
Cranberries are grown across the United States in leading production states of Wisconsin, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Oregon and Washington. They are a versatile, nutrient-dense fruit that can be easily incorporated into sweet and savory dishes.
