Great info on plums can be found on the Washington State Fruit Commission website!

Plums are excellent source of Vitamin C that helps the body heal cuts and wounds.

Vitamin C helps the body to absorb more iron from foods. Throw in some sliced plums in your spinach salad or cook meat/chicken with plums to get the most iron out of them!

Other notable nutrients include Vitamin A and K, dietary fiber and potassium.

  • The "blossom end" of a plum is the end opposite the stem.
