  What is the purpose of this license?
The purpose is to regulate the sanitation of storage for temporary deposit, transfer or loading of dead animals.
  What activities require this license and who needs to get it?
This allows a properly equipped and authorized concentration site for the temporary storage of dead animals or packing house refuse pending final delivery to a licensed rendering plant.

You need to include the license fee.
  Is the decision to approve my license dependent on anything besides the information in my application?
Yes, a satisfactory site inspection of the premises must be completed.
  When will I receive my license?
The license will be issued within 15 days of a satisfactory site inspection of the premises.
  How long is my license valid?
The license is valid for one calendar year, July 1 through June 30.

RCW 16.68.040, RCW 16.68.050, WAC 16-25-025 and USDA-FSIS Title 21 Chapter 12
  What is the appeal process?
Upon notice by the Department to deny, revoke, or suspend a license, a person may request a hearing under chapter 34.05 RCW, the Administrative Procedures Act.
