License to Feed Garbage
  What is the purpose of this license?
The purpose is to allow edible waste derived from garbage to be fed to swine.
  What activities require this license and who needs to get it?
You are required to be licensed if you feed garbage with meat scraps to swine that will later be used as a food animal. If an operator has more than one feeding station, a separate license is required for each place of business.

Yes, you must pass a site inspection of the feeding station.

  When will I receive my license?
The license will be issued within 15 business days upon the $10.00 fee being paid and a satisfactory site inspection of the premises being completed.
  How long is it valid?
The license is valid for one calendar year, July 1st through June 30th.

RCW 16.36.105, RCW 16.68.150 and 9 CFR Chapter 1 Part 166
