Compliance Agreement

This agreement is entered into between the Washington Department of Agriculture (WSDA) and the shipper or packer as a privilege, and authorizes the issuance of Certificates of Compliance for Apples, Pears, Cherries, Apricots, Peaches, Prunes and Asparagus.
Any shipper or packer of apples, apricots, cherries, pears, peaches, Italian prunes, potatoes, or asparagus may petition the WSDA Director for authority to issue certificates of compliance for each season. The Director may issue certificate of compliance agreements, granting this authority, on terms and conditions defined by rule. Certificates of compliance shall only be issued for fruits or vegetables that are in full compliance with chapter 15.17 RCW and the rules adopted there under.
If you do not already have a compliance agreement with WSDA, go here to print the application, fill it out, sign it and return it according to the instructions on the application.

If you have an existing agreement that will expire on August 31st, simply login in to your C2P2 account (Master User) and submit your application renewal online before it expires each year.
Compliance Agreements are offered at no charge. Fees are collected on Certificates of Compliance (COC) issued.
All requirements are listed in the application.
If you use C2P2 to renew your agreement , your renewal is completed within 24 hours. If you do not use the online system, it will take approximately 10 business days after WSDA receives your completed Agreement application.
Compliance Agreements are valid from September 1 of the current year through August 31 of the following year (1 year).
The requirements for compliance agreements are found in RCW 15.17 Standards of Grades and Packs.
There is no appeal process for a denial, however, applicants may correct information on the form and reapply at any time.
