Egg Handler/Dealer License
  What is the purpose of this license?
To allow the operation of egg production, handling and sale to wholesalers, dealers and retailers
  What activities require this license and who needs to get it?
Businesses that produce, handle, contract for, obtain possession, control, or process eggs for sale
  How do I apply?
You apply by completing an application form through Business Licensing Service
  How much will it cost?
$30 first location and $15 for each additional location
  What are the licensing requirements?
A Washington State Egg Handler/Dealer License is required for businesses or persons that produce, handle, contract for, or obtain possession or control of eggs for sale to wholesalers, dealers or retailers within or into Washington; or for processing and sale to wholesalers, dealers, retailers, foodservice, institutional consumers, or consumers within or into Washington.
  Do I need to include anything with my application?
- Type of Ownership (Sole Proprietor, Corporation, etc.)
- Business location and mailing address
- Owner names and addresses
- Social security number is required for all sole proprietors and spouse. It is also required for all partners, officers, and LLC members of businesses that will have employees
- Federal Employer Identification Number (EIN or FEIN) for legal entities (i.e., corporations, limited liability companies, etc.)
- E-Check payment information (bank name, routing number, bank account type, type of account, etc.)
  Is the decision to approve dependent on anything besides the information in my application?
Local health districts have jurisdiction over farmers markets in their areas and may conduct market inspections to assure vendor compliance with local rules and regulations.
  When will I receive it?
License issued by Business Licensing Service
- 10 business days if submitted online and 20 business days if submitted via US mail

Annual license
  What is the appeal process for the license?
Upon notice by the Department to deny, revoke, or suspend a license, a person may request a hearing under chapter 34.05 RCW.
