Bulk Fertilizer Distributor License
  What is the purpose of this license?
The purpose is to distribute bulk fertilizer products for sale in Washington State.
  What activities require this license and who needs to get it?
No person may distribute a bulk fertilizer in this state until a license to distribute has been obtained. An annual license is required for each out-of-state or in-state location that distributes bulk fertilizer in Washington state.
  How do I apply?
You apply by completing a Business License Application located at: http://bls.dor.wa.gov/bulkfertilizer.aspx. If you do not have access to the Internet, you may receive this information by contacting the Department of Revenue telephone number listed below.
  How much will it cost?
An application for each location shall be filed on forms provided by the master license system and shall be accompanied by an annual fee of fifty dollars per location. Additionally, there is a tonnage-based inspection fee of .35 cents per ton on fertilizer and .20 cents per ton on lime.
