Bulk Commercial Fertilizer
Distribution License

This annual license is required for each facility that distributes bulk fertilizer in or into Washington State.  The Bulk Fertilizer Distribution License is an endorsement to your business license completed through the State of Washington Business Licensing Service.

Bulk fertilizer means commercial fertilizer distributed in non-packaged forms such as, but not limited to, tote bags, tote tanks, bins, tanks, trailers, spreader trucks and railcars.

Annual Cost: $25 license fee is required.

Additionally, there is a tonnage-based inspection fee of .30 cents per ton on fertilizer and .15 cents per ton on lime.  For more information refer to the Tonnage Reporting Requirements section.
Expiration: Determined by when your business license is filed.
