Complaints

The WSDA Organic Food Program is dedicated to organic integrity and professional service. We have established a complaint procedure to help ensure that complaints from applicants for certification, certified operations and the public are addressed in a timely manner. With any complaint, complete and accurate information allows us to review or investigate the issue successfully. Helpful details include: date, time and place of alleged infraction, pictures of noncompliant signage or product labels, your full name and contact information and/or any other details that help follow up on the complaint. Anonymous complaints cannot be accepted.

Depending on the type of complaint, it should be submitted in the following manner:

Complaint against a WSDA-certified party
To file a complaint against a WSDA-certified party, please contact our program directly at the contact information here with as much information as possible regarding the complaint.

Complaint against a non-certified party
Complaints against non-certified parties should be forwarded directly to the compliance office at the National Organic Program.
