Direct Supervision:

Pesticide law has a strict definition of direct supervision for commercial applications. In order to make a legal application, the unlicensed employee of a Commercial Applicator must be in eye- and earshot of a properly licensed person at all times.  The only exception is for commercial forestry applications of general use pesticides with non-power equipment.  Constant voice and visual contact is not required if the licensed applicator is onsite and readily available.
