Updated 11/1/06 Tonnage ReportingAnyone who distributes a fertilizer in Washington to non-registrants or non-licensees must pay an inspection fee to WSDA. Inspections fees are due semi-annuallly for the reporting periods January 1st through June 30th and July 1st through December 31st of each year. A company who distributes less than 100 tons for each six-month period during any calendar year may report annually by submitting the Annual Commercial Fertilizer Tonnage Report. Otherwise registrants must complete a Semi-Annual Commercial Fertilizer Tonnage Report and submit the amount owed for tonnage. The inspection fee for fertilizer is thirty cents per ton.
