Tonnage Reporting

Anyone who distributes a fertilizer in Washington to non-registrants or non-licensees must pay an inspection fee to WSDA. Inspections fees are due semi-annuallly for the reporting periods January 1st through June 30th and July 1st through December 31st of each year. A company who distributes less than 100 tons for each six-month period during any calendar year may report annually by submitting the Annual Commercial Fertilizer Tonnage Report. Otherwise registrants must complete a Semi-Annual Commercial Fertilizer Tonnage Report and submit the amount owed for tonnage. The inspection fee for fertilizer is thirty cents per ton. The inspection fee for lime is fifteen cents per ton.
