WSDA's fertilizer product database provides information on the
metals concentrations of each of the nine heavy metals (arsenic,
cadmium, cobalt, mercury, molybdenum, lead, nickel, selenium, and
zinc) for which Washington State has developed soil loading
standards. The registrants may list a higher concentration than
actually found by the laboratory in order to build in a safety
factor. All calculations are based on these numbers and either the
state default application rates or company listed maximum
application rates from the registration application. Metals
concentrations levels for each registered product for each licensed
company and all companies selling fertilizers will be accessible by
the public at this web site.
