Changes to Washington State pesticide law will restrict the uses of some neonicotinoid (neonics) pesticides starting January 1, 2026. This state law is intended to protect pollinators by limiting the use of neonics and reducing the likelihood of pesticide misapplications that can harm pollinators. The PAB was re-established in the 2023 legislative session to advise the Agricultural Environmental Services (AES) Division of WSDA on the Division's plans, actions, and ongoing or emerging significant issues related to pesticides in Washington State. PAB meetings are open to the public and held in-person and virtually.
