Helping Washington companies to export food and agriculture products around the world

The International Marketing Program works closely with Washington State’s food and agricultural companies to help them export their products.  By providing companies with promotional support, market information and access to U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) market assistance programs, we help them to find buyers for their products.

Our services include:

WSDA's trade specialists in Olympia (Washington's capitol) Yakima (the center of the eastern Washington farming region) and Kennewick, directly assist individual companies and work with industry organizations.  We also have contract representatives in Japan, Taiwan, and in China who are experts in the export and marketing of food products in those markets.

The WSDA International Marketing Program consists of six staff with an industry advisory committee of agriculture and food export leaders.  They advise the program, review its goals and strategies, and assure that it is addressing the priorities of our exporters.  To learn more about WSDA's International Marketing Program, see the Annual Report - PDF(2.14 MB) for fiscal year 2007.
