Noxious Weed Control

Chapter 16-752 WAC

On September 3, 2009, the department adopted amendments to chapter 16-752 WAC that:
  1. add additional species to the wetland and aquatic weed quarantine (floating primrose-willow, variable-leaf milfoil, ricefield bulrush, and water soldier);
  2. add additional species to the noxious weed seed and plant quarantine (false brome, shiny geranium, and European hawkweed);
  3. revise permit requirements for educational or training materials;
  4. add language regarding botanical synonyms; and
  5. increase its clarity and readability by removing obsolete definitions and updating the language.

Adoption Date: September 3, 2009  Effective Date:  October 4, 2009
