What is C2P2?

C2P2 (Certificate of Compliance and Permit Program/Electronic COC) is an on-line system available to Washington State produce shippers. The intent is to provide the industry with a more timely, accurate, and cost effective alternative to the existing Certificate of Compliance and Permit Program. The system is designed for produce shippers to certify and document that apples, apricots, asparagus, cherries, pears, peaches and prunes meet all applicable state requirements for grades and condition. This system does not apply to any other produce or plant matter.

All application, certification and shipment information submitted by an enrollee is confidential.

Features

Here are a few of the features that you can expect to see when you begin using the new system:

  • Shippers can search for, print and download inspection data;

  • Shippers can use XML to upload quantities certificates;
    Shippers can import downloaded data into their own data systems;

  • Shippers can specify whether a shipment is for a non-profit business;

  • Shippers can track “organic” produce;

  • Enhanced search function that allows shippers to search by document type, input date, document date and order number;

  • Notesheet search function that can be used to search by commodity;

  • Additional fields included in the data download;
