Food Assistance Programs

For more general information email foodassistance@agr.wa.gov or call (360) 725-5640

The Washington State Department of Agriculture's (WSDA) Food Assistance Programs assist local and tribal organizations in providing emergency food to low income and vulnerable individuals throughout Washington State. Our goals are to alleviate hunger and increase the amount of nutritious foods distributed through emergency food programs while supporting the agricultural community.

For assistance or to donate, contact your local food provider by using one of the links to the right or contact WSDA at foodassistance@agr.wa.gov.

See our "new" recipe resource and find out how you can get involved in the upcoming Harvest Against Hunger Area Summits funded through the
Speciality Crop Block Grant Program.
