Livestock inspection fees
Cattle Identified + $ 1.10 per head Non- Identified ++ $ 1.60 per head Processing plants - 500 head daily capacity or less $ 4.00 per head Identified calves as pairs -out of state /pasture permit No Charge Horses $ 3.50 per head Yearly $ 20.00 per head Lifetime $ 60.00 per head
+ Identified - Cattle that carry the Owner / Seller /
Consignor's recorded brand.
++ Non-Identified - Cattle that are unbranded or carry
the brand of another person.
Note: The fee for field inspections performed by the
WSDA Brand Inspector
of cattle or horses is the greater of the per head fee or time and
mileage at $17.00 per hour and a mileage rate set by the Office of
Fiscal Management.
