Livestock Inspection Program
2012 Veterinarian Certification
Training Dates / Locations


Washington State licensed and accredited Veterinarians, who have attended certification training and passed a proficiency test, may perform livestock ownership inspection on behalf of the Livestock Inspection Program.

Below is a list of the 2012 training sessions available to first time applicants and those veterinarians who wish to renew their certification.

Advance reservations are required
and must be made at least 48 hours in advance of each training session

Eastern Washington: June 6, 2012
Time:
1:00 – 5:00 pm

Driving Directions:
From Interstate 82 take Exit 33 (Yakima Avenue). Go west on Yakima Avenue approximately one mile. You will go through the intersections of North First Street and Front Street, and cross two railroad tracks. Immediately after crossing the tracks, turn right. The WSDA building is located directly west of Track 29 (a small shopping area in old rail cars). Driving directions:

From Interstate 5, take State Capitol exit (105). This puts you on 14th Ave. Go through the tunnel and turn right on to Capitol Way. Turn right on 11th Ave, right on to Washington Street and then left into the Visitor Parking as directed by signs (P-1 level of the building). Take the elevator to the Rotunda. Go to main block of elevators and go to the 2nd floor, exit to the main hallway, take a right and follow to room 259 on the left.
