as informal WSDA advisory committee

 

Committee Status:

The Livestock Development and Oversight Committee was established in 2003 under Engrossed Substitute Senate Bill 5889 to advise WSDA on implementation of the Livestock Nutrient Management Program in an effective and equitable manner so that dairy and AFO livestock producers can meet the requirements of state and federal water quality laws.

The committee sunset June 30, 2006.  The last official meeting was held on July 22, 2006.  While no longer a formal advisory committee, the members are important stakeholders in continuing an effective livestock water quality program at WSDA and will continue to be consulted by the agency.
